Dr. Rory Mayer is referred complex back pain and neck pain patients from across the Austin, Texas region, including Waco, Temple, Houston and San Antonio.

If you’ve been told by another surgeon you need spine surgery, or a spinal fusion, it can be in your best interest to get a second opinion from a regional spine center of excellence. If you bring existing diagnostic studies, including your digital copy of X-rays and MRI, Dr. Rory Mayer can provide the following on your visit:

For your initial appointment please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow us sufficient time to complete all of the necessary paperwork. To cancel an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, and at least 24 hours in advance so we can give that time to another patient who is in pain. New patients are requested to bring: • All pertinent medical records, x-rays, and referral paperwork. • A completed copy of the new patient information sheets mailed to all new patients. Please bring these completed forms to the office at the time of your first visit. DO NOT MAIL THEM. Completion of the necessary paperwork prior to your appointment date will increase the speed of your visit.
